Days go by

I have not been getting much time lately, lost my phone, my laptop has given up, too much work in college as the semester gets over in like a month. And then couldn't update my blog because of some technical issue!

And meanwhile, I have thinking a lot about life, how it has changed so much for me, how it has changed me so much, how it changes people, and things and your thinking process.

It just amuses me how things affect us without even us realising it. And someday in the middle of this journey called life, you stop, take out a moment and look back only to find out that its all so different.

Well, I have not lost it, just been doing a lot of thinking lately. :P

Anyhow, I took out sometime to get some pictures clicked, and this is what I wore a few days back.

Got this dress from a thrift store, absolutely love the Oriental-ish curves of the ever green Paisley motifs.
The bag here is quite old, I bought it when I was in the 11th std. I knew it was coming home with me, the moment I set my eyes on it, totally love the print! :D

Teamed it up with my Mirror ring and the Black flat shoes, and my darling Denim shirt for a very 'Take it easy and relaxed' look.

In the second look, I am wearing it with my black cropped jacket, instead of the Denim shirt.

Here are the pictures :

Life is made of small moments like these

“Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful.”
—Sophia Loren

This is what I wore on Diwali, I have figured out the reason behind my excitement for Diwali, which I wasn't sure of a while back. Its the Saree (Mainly, cannot forget the awesome roof top parties and the diyas)!

I love wearing Sarees, experimenting with drapes, and also nothing is as hot as a Saree, sexiest thing it is! =D

PS : I recently attended TATW 450, Above and Beyond concert and cannot stop thinking about it! Hence, the name : Life is made of small moments like these. So true! :)

This feeling inside me

This feeling inside me
Oh it sends me sky high..

Got these super comfortable cropped pants a month back, finally, and it had to be black! =D
Wore it with these golden jewelries in the daytime and teamed it up with the blingy silver neck piece for a club event in the evening. :)

Waiting for the sparkling night

Diwali is just around the corner now and my excitement knows no limit!

Diwali is one of the few festivals that I really look forward to, not clear of the reason for the same though, if it is buying pretty candles and lamps, looking at the plates with laddus arranged in a pattern, or wearing a Saree (which I love to) and meeting other Saree clad college mates or the party that goes on like there is no tomorrow, I really do not what makes me so happy about Diwali!

It is surely not what it used to be like at home.

Well, I have been having these Diwali kicks for a while now, and it surely creates a thrill each time I see a road side vendor all ready with the clay pots and the diyas and the lamps, or people buying new clothes, those ethnic-ish blingy ones specially for Diwali!

And while writing this, I am thrilled about going around and hunt for the perfect earrings for this Saree that I plan to wear this time.

Meanwhile, just to calm down this frenzy I am in and to celebrate this excitement, I decided to style this skirt that I bought long back. Haven't used it much. It was perfect for what I had in my head, the silver sequins on it totally welcome the sparkling night!

I am wearing it here with a blue top and kolhapuris. This black locket that I find really striking, along with the blue necklace that I got from a street in Kolkata, completes my Diwali-excitement look. :)

What have you planned for Diwali? Would love to hear from you! :)

PS : My photographer is back! *Yay*

Out of the old closet

Hello people!
The weather in Bangalore is just lovely, it kept pouring heavily, non stop for like 3 days in a row, and now only yesterday sun came out for a little while!

I love winters! A cup of coffee, cozy room, and the warm blanket!
Perfect  for one of my fav tracks - It's raining, It's pouring, the dark sky is falling..
Lol.
Its so dull and moist around, I have been sleeping mostly, also because when college reopens on the 5th now, it will be hell lot of work again with no time to relax! :/

I went home for a couple of days, and what I love doing the most at home is raiding the wardrobes, the drawers and the closets!

Found this blue jacket that I bought somewhere in the 9th std, and to my surprise, it still fits me so well!

Well, I guess my habit of buying over sized clothes is quite old! ^.^

That is me grinning at the camera, new things in my wardrobe bring me so much joy! =D

A complete outfit post coming up soon! :)

A glamorous comeback

As I have mentioned earlier, I am totally digging the 'Bold Bottom' trend this A/W.

Well, talking about bottoms, one of the weirdest trend this season is wearing a Skirt over Trousers (Yes, its the comeback of the 90s trend, only more sophisticated)!
What are you thinking? Absurd? Bizarre? Or may be something you would want to try?

It is a difficult one to pull off, for sure! But then when you take a look at the models walking down the runway wearing skirts put together with skirts, in the shows by Prada, Marc Jacobs, Chanel etc, you cannot resist trying this trend.

Well, you surely have to be careful, as layering can add bulk, so take care of the fabric you choose.

Look at these finely tailored Cigarette pants, in the collection by Raf Simons, his first one for Dior. How bold and gorgeous are they!
My fav for sure! =)

Marc Jacobs

Prada

Louis Vuitton

So, you think you can pull it off?
