Do it like a Dude

I have always been a fan of these comfortable loose fitted pants and blazers and all the things out there that you can find in your boyfriend or dad's
wardrobe!
You can catch me inspecting my dad's wardrobe, whenever I am home! ^.^

And I am die hard fan of boyfriend trousers and shirts!
We saw the Trouser Trend take over in Autumn Winter season, loved the cropped slim trousers! Also, the trouser under skirt trend was all over my mind and
still is!
And masculine tailoring is something that has always been very powerful in fashion. We shall see the trend ruling in the next A/W too!

Now taking you to the pictures, I wore this for going to a movie with my friend!

I am wearing this loose fit top with grey pants, along with this black blazer.
Completing the look with black flat shoes. Wearing this locket pendant
for a touch of femininity.

Hope you like the look!

Emerald Empire

I am sure by now you guys by know about this year's color, announced by Pantone!
Its the gorgeous color emerald green that has replaced last year's vibrant color Tangerine.
Green has always been my favourite color, because its the color of nature. The color has always been a strong part of the fashion trends.
After all no one can not love the
enchanting color of harmony, nature and beauty!

The year has just begun, and we are already seeing a speck of this lovely color everywhere, be it tops, gowns, bags, shoes or home furnishing items.

A few things that I loved :

You can see commoners as well as celebs donning emerald color dresses and accessories.

This color was seen all around on the runways at Michael Kors,
Nanette Lepore and Vivienne Tam, golden globe awards where celebs very nicely worked out a touch of emerald in their looks, with clutches, rings, earrings etc.
It is quite being experimented with, in makeup too!

Here are a few pictures of pretty celebs and fashionistas flaunting the color at events and runway.

I too decided to wear this beautiful emerald-ish gown and styled it with few chunky gold accessries around my neck and with this hot red bag, and my black pumps.

And now I will take you to the pictures.

And last not but not the least, here are a few tips on how to wear the color :

* Avoid being emrelad from head to toe, any color in an overdose just spoils the whole beauty of it.
* Play contrast game with a bright color outfit with emerald nail color or shoes, or vice versa.
* Emerald jewelries can dazzle up any outfit you are wearing, so pick up beautiful rings, earrings or statement neck pieces for sure!
* If you are scared to carry the color and think it is too bold for you, then add a peck of the color by carrying a pretty emerald green bag or heels.
* You should absolutely try emerald green makeup, look diva like with eye liner or eye shadow of the color.

Truly quoted by Pantone : "Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony."

Quiet Times

Starting this post with a good news! :)
I have been featured in the Street Style section of Cosmopolitan India, January 2013. *Yay* :D
See it here

And now talking about the pictures, the look is very casual and comfy.
I am wearing black fitted pants with a light brown loose fit top. Wearing my yellow block heels in footwear and my pretty school satchel along with this vintage style watch pendant.
This pendant is very dear to me, and love how it adds a peck of vintage-ness to any look!
All over feel of the look is very earthy because of the muted tones, and the yellow heels perk up the look without killing the subtle feel.

Born to Die

So, the second part of the crop top post is here as mentioned earlier! :)
Before you see the pictures, you should know the story behind the crop top, and see the main print.
You can see it here.
The main print that I made is used in this crop top and this print comes from one of the co-ordinates that I developed.

Talking about the look, keeping it very simple, I styled the crop top with these high waist jeggings and black pumps, with a neon pink ring to add to the pink motifs of the top.
So, now you are ready to enjoy the pictures! :D

Crop Top : Designed by me
Jeggings : Tibetan Plaza
Pumps : Carlton London
Ring : Gifted
Aviators : Asos

PS : A little misplacement of the print motifs as I couldn't set them properly before giving it for printing. Last moment work. :P
